Last updated: 26 June 2026

These terms apply when you book a visit, request a quotation, accept a job, or use the client portal with LuxuryLifts (“we”, “us”). By booking or accepting a quotation you agree to these terms. We are based in Malta and work across Malta & Gozo only.

Our services

  • Scheduled lift maintenance and maintenance agreements.
  • 24/7 breakdown callouts and repairs.
  • New lift installation, modernization, and dumbwaiter / service-lift supply & install.
  • Inspection and certification support.

Bookings & quotations

A booking is a request for a visit; we confirm the date and time with you. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are subject to on-site survey — if the work needed differs from what was quoted, we will agree any change with you before proceeding. Accepting a quotation (in the portal, in writing, or verbally) forms a contract for that work.

Pricing, payment & invoices

  • Prices are in euro (€). As an Article 11 person we do not charge VAT; our documents are issued as a fiscal receipt / invoice.
  • Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice (default 14 days) unless agreed otherwise.
  • You can pay by bank transfer or securely online by card / Apple Pay (handled by Stripe). We do not store your card details.
  • We may suspend service or recover reasonable costs on overdue accounts.

Maintenance agreements

Maintenance agreements run for the agreed term and cover scheduled visits and priority callouts as described in your plan. Parts, major repairs and works outside the plan are quoted separately. Either party may end an agreement with reasonable written notice; fees already due remain payable.

Access & your responsibilities

You agree to give safe and timely access to the lift and machine room, keep the area safe to work in, and tell us of any known faults or hazards. Missed or delayed access may incur a callout charge. The lift must be used in line with manufacturer and statutory requirements between our visits.

Compliance & safety

We carry out works to a competent standard and advise you of issues affecting safety or compliance. Responsibility for keeping the lift registered and compliant (e.g. with MCCAA requirements) rests with the lift owner / responsible person; we will support and document our work to help you meet those duties.

Warranty & liability

We warrant our workmanship for a reasonable period and will put right defective work attributable to us. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for faults caused by misuse, third-party work, or lack of access, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the relevant work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Cancellation & rescheduling

Please give us as much notice as possible to change or cancel a visit. Short-notice cancellations may be charged where we have already committed resources.

Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the Maltese courts have jurisdiction.

These terms are a plain-language starting point provided in good faith. Please have them reviewed by a qualified adviser and complete the bracketed details before relying on them.
